Welcome to Tinnitus Match. These terms cover your use of the app and anything you do in it — browsing soundscapes, creating an account, publishing presets, chatting with the AI, and interacting with other users. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tinnitus Match. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. Where local law sets a higher minimum age, that higher age applies. By signing in you're confirming you meet the age requirement for your country.
This is not a medical device. Tinnitus Match provides soundscape mixing, AI-generated audio presets, and community sharing for informational and general wellness purposes only. Nothing in the app — including the AI suggestions — is a diagnosis, treatment, or cure for tinnitus or any other condition. Always consult a licensed clinician (audiologist, ENT specialist, or GP) for medical concerns.
The app gives you a real-time mixer, built-in sound presets, a sleep timer, AI-assisted preset generation, and a community space where users share presets that help them. That's it. It's a wellness tool, not a healthcare product.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us right away at kakhagiorgashvili@gmail.com so we can help you secure it. We're not liable for anything that happens as a result of someone else getting into your account.
When you publish a preset, comment, or any other content in the app, you keep full ownership of it. By publishing it you grant Tinnitus Match a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content to other users within the app for as long as it's published. That license ends automatically when you delete the content or delete your account.
You're responsible for the content you publish. Don't post anything that violates someone else's copyright or that you don't have the right to share.
The community works because people treat each other with respect. The following are not allowed:
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules and to suspend or permanently delete accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach them. We'll act without notice when required for safety.
If you see content that shouldn't be here, use the in-app report flow (tap the three-dot menu on any preset or comment). We review all reports. For severe categories — harassment and content that encourages self-harm — we aim to act within 24 hours. For other reports, we aim for 72 hours. You can also block individual users from their profile to stop seeing their content.
Tinnitus Match plays audio through your device's speakers or headphones. Prolonged exposure to high volume can damage hearing. Please keep your listening volume at a comfortable, safe level. You can adjust volume directly inside the app, or use your device's volume controls.
The AI preset generator produces suggestions based on the description you type and your optional tinnitus profile. These are starting points, not personalized medical recommendations. We can't guarantee that any AI-generated preset will suit you, relieve symptoms, or be safe for your specific situation. You're responsible for your listening volume and how long you use the app. If something doesn't feel right, stop and talk to a clinician.
The Tinnitus Match app, its source code, design, branding, and built-in audio content remain the property of Kakha Giorgashvili. Nothing in these terms gives you a license to copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any of that.
You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete account.
Deleting your account removes your personal data and unpublishes your
content within 30 days, per our
Privacy Policy.
We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms. For minor violations we'll typically warn first; for serious violations (safety threats, illegal content) we'll act immediately without notice.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes we'll also show a notice inside the app. Continuing to use Tinnitus Match after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Tinnitus Match is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind — express or implied. We don't warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular preset or AI output will produce a specific result for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kakha Giorgashvili and Tinnitus Match shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. If for any reason direct liability is found, the maximum amount we owe you is capped at what you paid us — which, as of now, is zero, because the app is free.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country). Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia. If you're in a jurisdiction that doesn't allow certain exclusions or limitations, those parts may not apply to you, but the rest of the Terms still do.
